South Africa’s squad for next month’s World Championship of Legends has been confirmed.
Former Proteas all-rounder Jacques Kallis will captain South Africa Champions. Former Proteas fast bowler Allan Donald has been named head coach.
The T20 tournament, which will also include India, Pakistan, England, Australia and West Indies, will be played in England from 3 to 13 July 2024.
“We are honoured to compete in the World Championship of Legends and showcase the talent of our legendary players,” said South Africa Champions franchise owner Harry Singh.
“Our team is dedicated to delivering exciting cricket and making the nation proud. The team is eager to take on the best retired and non-contracted players from around the world, promising an unforgettable tournament.”
