Batsman Jean Strydom was named men’s Cricketer of the Year at Durbanville Cricket Club’s awards for the 2022-23 season recently.
Strydom also won the Players’ Player of the Year trophy – and was awarded for being the best batsman in the first XI.
He was the joint second-highest run-scorer in the 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
