Jeppe Cricket Club have appointed new Lions Cricket premier league B coach Mark Robey.
Robey has succeeded former premier league B coach Richard Wood.
Jeppe Cricket Club recently retained premier league A coach Gurt Oosthuizen.
“We are fortunate enough to have teams in the premier league A and premier league B. Signing Robey will certainly improve our chances of winning the premier league B this season,” said Jeppe Cricket Club vice-chairman Grant Macfarlane.
“Robey has been coaching cricket for 19 years, with a few first-class games behind him and 20 years of premier league experience as a player. He hopes to bring some fun, but most of all share his love for the game to a talented group of cricketers.”
Former Proteas batsman Alviro Petersen plays for Jeppe Cricket Club.
