Batsman Jesse Christensen was named in Rondebosch Cricket Club’s XI for Saturday, 31 January 2026’s Western Province Cricket Association premier league fixture against Ottoman Cricket Club.
Christensen, who was capped by Western Province at first-class level 12 times from 2017 to 2021, replaced batsman Travis Norris in the Rondebosch Cricket Club XI this week.
Norris is the leading run-scorer in this season’s WPCA premier league.
Rondebosch Cricket Club currently occupy first position on the 2025-26 WPCA premier league points table. They have won 10 and lost four matches – and are five points ahead of second-placed Western Province Cricket Club.
Durbanville Cricket Club, Bellville Cricket Club and Brackenfell Cricket Club are in third, fourth and fifth position, respectively.
