Durbanville Cricket Club seamer Jody Lawrence debuted in first-class cricket on Thursday, 21 November 2024.
Lawrence was named in Western Province’s XI on day one of this week’s 4-Day Domestic Series fixture against the Lions at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.
“We’ve got a few injuries and some players who haven’t had much game time, but that’s what makes our squad exciting. Yes, we’re young, but we’re strong competitors, always looking to win, no matter the situation,” said Western Province batting coach Qaasim Adams.
