South Africa Legends beat New Zealand Legends by nine wickets in Monday’s Road Safety World Series fixture in Kanpur, India.
New Zealand Legends posted a final total of 99 for eight in the allotted 20 overs.
Former Proteas captain Johan Botha completed figures of four for 11 in four overs. Fellow spinner Thandi Tshabalala took three for four in nine.
South Africa Legends reached 100 for one in 13.3 overs in reply.
Opening batsman Andrew Puttick hit 51 not out from 36 deliveries. He received support from batsman Alviro Petersen, who collected an unbeaten 29 from 23.
South Africa Legends lost to India Legends last week – and will meet Sri Lanka Legends at the same venue on Saturday.
