Kent batsman Ben Compton has joined the Tuskers for the 2023-24 4-Day Domestic Series in South Africa.
Compton, who was born in Durban, has played first-class cricket for Kent and Nottinghamshire in England – and the Mountaineers in Zimbabwe.
Compton is averaging 47.33 after 77 first-class innings – and hit 11 centuries.
He is the grandson of former England Test cricketer Denis Compton – and cousin of former England Test cricketer Nick Compton.
The Tuskers, whose new head coach is Ahmed Amla, will start the 4-Day Domestic Series against the Dolphins at Kingsmead in Durban in early November.
