The Knights currently occupy first position on this season’s 4-Day Domestic Series, division two, points table.

They have won four and lost one match – and are more than 12 points ahead of second-placed Easterns.

The Knights will play Mpumalanga in White River this week.

“If you look at the log, we’ve already secured a final, but going to Mpumalanga is about earning a home final,” Knights head coach JP Triegaardt told OFM.

“They might be second last, but we’ll never take any team lightly. We need to stay humble, prepare properly, assess the conditions and select the best possible side.”

Batsman Gihahn Cloete and seamer Johan van Dyk are the Knights’ leading run-scorer and wicket-taker, respectively, in this season’s 4-Day Domestic Series.
