South Africa Under-19 beat Bangladesh Under-19 by 10 runs in this week’s rain-affected limited-over series opener at Khulna.

The fixture was played over two days due to wet weather in Khulna.

Captain David Teeger top-scored with 37 in South Africa Under-19’s final total of 145 for eight in 29 overs.

Seamer Kwena Maphaka completed figures of four for 34 in Bangladesh’s response of 152 all out in 28.3 overs. The hosts’ target had been adjusted to 163 in the truncated fixture.
