Seamer Michael Booth has joined Lancashire Cricket Club in KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union club competition.
Booth has been capped four times at first-class level by Warwickshire in the English County Championship.
Booth has also represented Warwickshire in the One-Day Cup and T20 Blast.
“We are ecstatic to announce the signing of Michael Booth. Get ready for some thrilling cricket,” read a brief statement from Lancashire Cricket Club.
Booth is among several first-class cricketers from England currently playing club cricket in South Africa. These include Essex’s Robin Das, who is with Cape Town Cricket Club and Worcestershire’s Gareth Roderick who is with Green Point Cricket Club. Derbyshire’s Harry Came, meanwhile, has returned to Claremont Cricket Club.
Elsewhere in KwaZulu-Natal Inland, Kent batsman Ben Compton has been playing first-class cricket for the Tuskers in division two of the 2024-25 4-Day Domestic Series.
