Last season’s second-highest wicket-taker in WPCA first division A joins Ottoman Cricket Club

Off-spinner Shaheed Ababer has left United Cricket Club for Ottoman Cricket Club ahead of the 2020-21 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.

Abader was the second-highest wicket-taker in the 2019-20 WPCA first division A. His 36 wickets in 18 innings were second only to Green Point Cricket Club spinner Adam Scher’s 37 in 19, according to WebSports.

The start of the 2019-20 WPCA club season has been delayed amid the coronavirus. It will likely begin in January.
