Proteas Women’s cricketers Laura Wolvaardt and Ayabonga Khaka have been nominated in three categories ahead of this week’s Cricket South Africa awards for the 2021-22 season.
Wolvaardt and Khaka have been nominated in the Women’s T20 International Player of the Year, Women’s ODI Player of the Year and Women’s Player of the Year categories.
The award winners will be named on Sunday, 14 August.
The judging panel comprises convenor Jeremy Fredericks, commentator Natalie Germanos, cricket personality Crystal Arnold, journalists Lungani Zama and Stuart Hess – and administrator Clinton du Preez.
