All-rounder Lehan Botha has signed a rookie contract with Boland ahead of the 2024-25 domestic season in South Africa.
Botha, who was capped twice at first-class level by Western Province in 2021, recently represented South Africa at the Africa Games in Ghana.
Meanwhile, all-rounder Abdallah Bayoumy has signed a rookie contract with Western Province.
Bayoumy featured in Western Province’s title-winning One-Day Cup campaign earlier this year.
He took three wickets in the final against North West. A week earlier, he had taken four wickets against Boland.
Earlier in the tournament, he struck a match-winning half-century against the Dolphins.
“It’s a dream come true. However, the hard work starts now,” said Bayoumy.
