Major League Cricket salaries – salary per player
Major League Cricket reported revenue of $8 million after the 2023 tournament, but that did not result in increased salary caps for MLC in 2024. Players were paid up to $175,000 for a minimum of five matches last year.
For the inaugural MLC player draft in 2023, each of the six teams had a purse of more $1 million – $800,000 allocated for overseas players and $300,000 for US-based players. The draft had a salary cap with a maximum of $75,000 for the first round and a minimum of $2,500 for the ninth round.
