The Warriors beat the Lions by 33 runs in Sunday, 9 March 2025’s rain-affected One-Day Cup fixture at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.
Former Western Province Colts batsman Matthew de Villiers hit 49 not out for the Warriors – and was named Player of the Match.
This was de Villiers’ List A debut. He made his first-class debut for the Warriors earlier this season.
The Warriors did not gain a berth in the play-off stage of the tournament despite Sunday’s win.
The Dolphins and Titans will contest Wednesday’s qualifier in Durban.
The winner of the qualifier will play Boland in Saturday’s final.
