Wicketkeeper-batsman Michael Appollis has rejoined Claremont Cricket Club ahead of the 2024-25 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Appollis won the 2022-23 WPCA premier league title with Claremont Cricket Club before joining Strandfontein Cricket Club for the 2024-25 first division A.
Claremont Cricket Club ended the 2023-24 WPCA premier league in fifth position with 13 wins and nine defeats. They are scheduled to play Cape Town Cricket Club on 12 October during the opening round of 2024-25 WPCA premier league fixtures.
Northamptonshire’s George Hargrave will be Claremont Cricket Club’s overseas player again.
Batsman Valentine Kitime, meanwhile, has left Claremont Cricket Club for Cravenby Cricket Club.
