Milnerton Cricket Club name first division A captain

Batsman Dillon Smit has been named Milnerton Cricket Club’s new captain ahead of the 2020-21 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.

Smit was a key member of Milnerton Cricket Club’s 2019-20 WPCA first division A campaign, collecting 311 runs in 18 innings.

He has succeeded former captain Matt Snyman.

The veteran Robin van Harte, meanwhile, has returned to Milnerton Cricket Club as head coach. Van Harte had spent a brief stint at Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club.

Last month, seamer Malcolm Cloete left Milnerton Cricket Club for Glamorgan Cricket Club.
