Leg-spinner Dyllan Matthews has joined Milnerton Cricket Club for the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Matthews has played professional cricket for the Warriors, Cape Cobras, Lions and other teams.
He has played club cricket for Cape Town Cricket Club and Rondebosch Cricket Club in the WPCA premier league – and was Avendale Cricket Club’s player-coach during the 2024-25 WPCA first division A.

Milnerton Cricket Club have also signed batsmen Kyle Peters and Gio Gie from Avendale Cricket Club, who have been relegated to the WPCA first division B, and batsman Ben Henderson from Langa Cricket Club.
Milnerton Cricket Club will compete in the 2025-26 WPCA first division A after being relegated from the premier league – and have appointed new captain Malcolm Cloete.
They have lost all-rounders Kyle Tomlinson and Keenan Delwai – and spinner Calvin Tanner – to Western Province Crickete Club, Cravenby Cricket Club and Durbanville Cricket Club, respectively.
