Jethro Hill of Tygerberg Cricket Club, Yusuf Keets of Blue Bells Cricket Club, Firaaz Booley of Primrose Cricket Club and Charl Cyster of Boland Cricket Academy were the losing quarter-finalists.

The hard-hitting Mitchell also clinched the accolade for the biggest six of the tournament – a massive blow over midwicket in the second semi-final – and Castle cherished some consolation as the opening round’s top-scorer.
