Mitchells Plain Cricket Club will play Bellville South Cricket Club in Sunday, 6 April 2025’s Western Province Cricket Association first division C T20 final at Newlands.
Mitchells Plain Cricket Club lost the 2022-23 WPCA first division D T20 final to Bergvliet Cricket Club. In 2018-19, Mitchells Plain Cricket Club were defeated by Belhar Cricket Club in the first division D T20 final.
“Mitchells Plain Cricket Club are striving to break the bogey that is the T20 final,” said Mitchells Plain Cricket Club team manager Bradley Adams.
“It will be our third final in six years and we narrowly came second on both previous occasions. The team has been putting in the hard yards in preparing for Sunday’s showpiece. The excitement in the club is evident.
“The final squad gives us a good blend of experience and youth. All in all, the excitement of returning to Newlands is always a big day on the calendar for the entire club. Hopefully, we give our supporters something to shout about this year.”
