England all-rounder Moeen Ali will participate in Cricket South Africa’s new T20 league, which will launch early next year.
Ali previously played for the Cape Town Blitz in the Mzansi Super League – CSA’s previous attempt at a domestic T20 competition with global appeal.
He is among several international players to join the new league, which will feature six franchises – all of which have been bought by companies that also own Indian Premier League teams.
Ali’s England team-mates Jos Buttler and Liam Livingstone – and West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder – have also joined the league.
