Seamer Mohammed Rahman has joined Rylands Cricket Club ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Rahman previously played for Wynberg Cricket Club, who have been promoted from the WPCA first division C to first division B.
“I have made a decision to move on to the next chapter of my cricketing aspirations,” said Rahman.
“I would like to thank each and everyone at Wynberg Cricket Club for helping me grow as a cricketer and most importantly as a human being.
“I came to WCC as a player with a lot of shortcomings, but I leave as a leader thanks to your support, guidance and belief in me.”
“I would like to, in the future, come back home to Wynberg Cricket Club.”
Wynberg Cricket Club, who have appointed new head coach Kyle Prince, have also lost to batsman Taariq Gabriels. He has joined United Cricket Club.
