What Cravenby Cricket Club said

“It is an absolute pleasure welcoming back our former members. We wish them all the best for the upcoming season and we have the utmost confidence that they will exceed expectations,” Cravenby Cricket Club representative Abdul Sonday told Club Cricket SA.

“We were sorry to lose Niaz to Montrose for a bit, but now that he is back, it’s going to be really good for the youngsters and other club members to learn from his experience and insight.

“Terblanche and Parker will bring a lot to our bowling attack. They are good wicket-takers and will challenge a lot of the batsmen across the first division C. We are eager to improve on last season’s performances – and they will certainly be key to this.”

Cravenby Cricket Club finished in sixth position across 2018-19’s nine-team first division C, after eight wins and 10 defeats. Seven of their victories were achieved with a bonus point. They beat Kensington Cricket Club twice.
