Former Proteas fast bowler Morne Morkel has been named among Namibia’s coaching staff for the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia as a bowling consultant.
Morkel played international cricket from 2006 to 2018.
More recently, he represented the Brisbane Heat in Australia’s Big Bash League.
He will work alongside brother Albie Morkel, who is Namibia’s assistant coach – and head coach Pierre de Bruyn.
Former Proteas all-rounder David Wiese has been included in Namibia’s squad for the T20 World Cup.
