Seamer Mpilo Njoloza has left Brackenfell Cricket Club for Bellville Cricket Club, ahead of the 2019-20 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.

Njoloza was recently named Cricket South Africa’s Provincial One-Day Cricketer of the Year – and the is the WPCA’s current First-Class Player of the Year.

“We are very disappointed to lose Mpilo to Bellville. However, we wish him well at his new club. He is a good player,” Brackenfell Cricket Club chairman Tertius Dippenaar told Club Cricket SA.

Brackenfell Cricket Club recruited left-arm seamer Brandon Viret and Cape Cobras all-rounder George Linde from Durbanville Cricket Club last month.

“We are delighted to have both Brandon and George on board. Brandon is an experienced player with a very good track record and George is an established player in first-class cricket,” added Dippenaar.

“We are looking forward to both of them adding value to our club community – on and off the field.”
