Mpumalanga have signed spinner Kurtlyn Mannikam ahead of South Africa’s 2024-25 domestic season.
Mannikam previously played for the Tuskers, who will compete alongside Mpumalanga in division two after being relegated from division one.
Batsman Nonelela Yikha has joined Mpumalanga, too. Yikha, who previously represented Border, has been capped 21 times in first-class cricket – and has scored one century.
Mpumalanga have also signed wicketkeeper-batsman Musa Twala. Twala was previously with the Titans. He has also played for South Africa Emerging.
New Mpumalanga head coach Mbasa Gqadushe also confirmed retaining seamers Gareth Dukes and Jon Hinrichsen – and releasing all-rounder Alex Kok and Gregory Mahlokwana.
