Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club mourned the passing of former chairman Hansie Raubenheimer this week.
Raubenheimer was associated to Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club for several seasons – and served as chairman, groundsman and other roles.
His son is current Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club first XI captain Tertius Raubenheimer.
“We are saddened by the loss of one who has impacted our club in too many ways to be mentioned,” read a statement from the club.
“Player, chairman, groundsman – you wore many hats and your legacy made our club what it is today and still flows through us.
“Your loss has resounded amongst the cricket community. We honour your memory and wish your family much peace in this difficult time.”
