Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club have retained head coach Reagan Siljeur for the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club finished the 2022-23 in third position – and are the reigning Ama20 Competition first division A champions.
“We are pleased to announce that coach Reagan Siljeur has put pen to paper for the 2023-24 season,” read a statement from Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club.
“He had a fantastic 2022-23 season with a third-place finish and T20 trophy. He has instilled his personal brand of mentality and work ethic into the players and the rewards were reaped as a result of that.
“His humble, calming and helpful manner was exactly what the club needed to help us see a new vision of the future of the club.”
Assistant coach Chad Hannival has also been retained – and will coach Northern Goodwood Cricket Club’s WPCA women’s premier league XI.
“Chad has agreed to contract extension. Due to his success, he will now take the head coach position of our women’s premier league side, too,” added Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club.
“We have seen the continued growth of Chad – from new member, to player, to fitness coach – and now he puts another notch in the milestone belt.”
