Former Proteas cricketers Makhaya Ntini, Roger Telemachus, Loots Bosman and Thandi Tshabalala have been included in South Africa’s squad for this month’s Road Safety World Series in India.
South African hockey star and 2012 Olympian Lloyd Norris-Jones is also in the squad.
South Africa Legends’ first match of the tournament will be against Sri Lanka legends in Raipur on Monday, 8 March 2021. Sri Lanka’s squad includes batsmen Tillakaratne Dilshan and Sanath Jayasuriya.

South Africa will also play an England Legends squad featuring duo Kevin Pietersen and Jonathan Trott.
They will also face an Indian Legends squad aided by trio Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh.
Bangladesh and the West Indies are also in the tournament, which no longer includes Australia.

Last year’s Road Safety World Series
The inaugural edition of the Road Safety World Series was cut short amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
South Africa played one match, beating a West Indies XI captained by batsman Brian Lara. Spinner Paul Harris and all-rounder Albie Morkel starred.
