Old Grey Cricket Club have signed batsman George van Heerden and spinner Liam Alder ahead of the 2023-24 Eastern Province Cricket premier league.
Van Heerden has a high-performance contract with the Warriors. Alder has a rookie contract with the Warriors. Both represented South Africa Emerging earlier this year.
Last month, Old Grey Cricket Club confirmed the retention of head coach Christo Jacobs.
“In the short period of time that I have been involved, I have seen the club grow and improve from
strength to strength and in the right direction, which excites me for the future,” said Jacobs.
“My vision is always to win the league, but more importantly to improve and impact players to get the best out of themselves – and to develop a club culture where we are respected and proud to be associated with on and off the field.”
