Border batsman Joshua van Heerden scored the most runs and South Western Districts seamer Basheer Walters took the most wickets in division two of the 2022-23 One Day Cup, which ended this week.
Joshua van Heerden – top batsman
The 24-year-old van Heerden collected 524 runs in six innings at an average of 262. His tally included three centuries – against Limpopo, Easterns and Mpumalanga.
The 147 not out against Limpopo in Polokwane marked a List A best for van Heerden.

This is the 36-year-old Walters’ first season at South Western Districts after leaving Western Province earlier this year.
