Batsman Luke Beaufort has joined the Knights for the 2023-24 domestic season in South Africa.
Beaufort played for South Africa Under-19 and, in 2021, was capped twice at List A level by Eastern Province.
He has not played for the Warriors in two years – and has since joined the Knights in division two competition. The Knights were relegated to division two at the end of the 2022-23 season.
The Knights have lost several players to other provinces. These include:
- Gerald Coetzee (to Titans);
- Matthew Kleinveldt (to Titans);
- Pite van Biljon (to Tuskers);
- Raynard van Tonder (to North West);
- Mbulelo Budaza (to Tuskers);
- Alfred Mothoa (to Warriors); and
- Patrick Kruger (to Warriors).
Beaufort will be joined by fast bowler Tiaan van Vuuren at the Knights. Van Vuuren has left the Warriors.
