Captain Taariq Behardien was named Player of the Year at Ottoman Cricket Club’s awards ceremony for the 2022-23 season recently. He won the same award last season.
Behardien, who also won the best batsman overall award, was Ottoman Cricket Club’s leading run-scorer in the 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Spinner Ridiwaan Williams, who has been selected for South Africa Over-40, was named Ottoman Cricket Club’s Veterans Player of the Year.
Spinner Sadiek Davids, who played for Western Province Over-40, won Ottoman Cricket Club’s best Veterans bowler award.
