The Paarl Royals have added seamer Okuhle Cele to the squad for season four of the SA20.
Cele has replaced South Africa Under-19 cricketer JJ Basson in the Royals’ squad.
Cele was with the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 previously, but did not play a match.
He toured Pakistan with the Proteas in 2021, but did not debut in international cricket.
The Royals will be captained by Proteas batsman David Miller this season.
They have several overseas players, including Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza, Afghanistan spinner, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie and England batsman Dan Lawrence.

The fourth season of the SA20 is scheduled to start on 26 December 2025. MI Cape Town are the reigning champions. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the most successful team in the history of the tournament with two titles.
