Former Proteas cricketers Peter Kirsten and Omar Henry have been included in South Africa’s squad for the inaugural Over-60 World Cup in Australia later this year.
The 70-year-old Henry will perform the dual role of player-manager.
The 67-year-old Kirsten represented Cape Town Cricket Club in the Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league relatively recently.
Fish Hoek Cricket Club’s Roy Meeser has been named captain.
Former Test all-rounder Mike Procter is the squad’s coach.
