Opening batsman Pieter Malan was the top run-scorer in this season’s CSA T20 Challenge.
Malan hit 368 runs in nine innings for an average of 46, at a strike rate of 119.
He captained the Rocks to the 2022 CSA T20 Challenge and top-scored with 71 in Sunday, 27 February’s final victory the Titans.

Stubbs second only to Malan
Warriors batsman Tristan Stubbs was the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer. He amassed 293 in seven innings for an average of 49, at a strike rate of 183.
Shamsi, von Berg, Dawood star
The Titans’ TabraizĀ Shamsi was the tournament’s leading wicket-taker. He clinched 13 wickets in nine innings. This included a hat-trick against the Dolphins.
Shamsi was one of three wrist spinners among the top four wicket-takers. The other two were the Rocks’ Shaun von Berg and Western Province’s Junaid Dawood.
