Pinelands Cricket Club have signed leg-spinner Storm Matthews for the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Matthews previously played for Avendale Cricket Club – and was the highest wicket-taker in the 2024-25 WPCA first division B.
“We are happy to have Storm with us. I think he is a proven match-winner and, as a leg-spinner, will add a different dynamic to our bowling attack,” Pinelands Cricket Club head coach Muneer Holmes told Club Cricket SA.
Pinelands Cricket Club ended the 2024-25 WPCA first division A in fifth position after 15 wins and seven losses. They reached last season’s WPCA first division A T20 final.
