Fast bowler Daryn Dupavillon has joined Lancashire Cricket Club in Pietermaritzburg Cricket Club.
Lancashire Cricket Club compete in the KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union premier league.
“The moment you’ve been waiting for. We are absolutely buzzing to announce the signing of pace sensation Daryn Dupavillon. Get ready for raw pace, fiery spells and wickets,” read a statement from the club.
Dupavillon was contracted by the Tuskers from the Dolphins earlier this year. He played two ODIs for South Africa in 2020 and 2021.
Multiple current and former Proteas cricketers remain actively involved in club cricket. All-rounder Robbie Frylinck and batsman Sarel Erwee won the Hollywoodbets T20 Challenge title with Crusaders Cricket Club last week.
Titans all-rounder Neil Brand has joined Irene Villagers Cricket Club ahead of the 2025-26 Titans Cricket Union premier league. Brand captained South Africa during 2024’s Test series in New Zealand.
