Dolphins spinner Prenelan Subrayen has been signed by the Durban franchise for Cricket South Africa’s new T20 league.
The Durban franchise is owned by RPSG Sports Private Limited, who also own the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League.
The new league will comprise six teams, which are all owned by companies who also own IPL teams, will start early next year.
Each team have been allowed to sign five players prior to auction. One of the five must be a South African uncapped at international level.
The Durban franchise have opted for Dolphins spinner Prenelan Subrayen, who has been in the Proteas’ Test squad, but not yet debuted.
