Primrose Cricket Club have gained batsman Josh Schippers, but lost all-rounder Raees Carr, for the 2021-22 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Schippers has returned to Primrose Cricket Club after a stint with the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club in the WPCA premier league. Carr, meanwhile, has joined UWC Cricket Club.

All-rounder Firaas Booley has also rejoined Primrose Cricket Club after a period away from club cricket.
Batsman Imraan Hendricks has left Montrose Cricket Club for Primrose Cricket Club. He was among the most expensive purchases in the recent Cape Premier League player auction.
The Devil’s Peak Dragons bought Hendricks for 1 million CPL dollars – the tournament’s fictional currency.

The 2020-21 WPCA club cricket season was not played amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 2019-20 season ended early for the same reason.
The WPCA, however, have reiterated intention to host a full 2021-22 season.
