Ottoman Cricket Club have signed all-rounder Zain Galant from United Cricket Club ahead of the 2024-25 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Batsman Abdul-Qadeer Salie has also joined Ottoman Cricket Club. Salie previously played for Primrose Cricket Club.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Zain. He is a talented, young all-rounder. We can’t wait to see him shine with the bat and ball. May this chapter bring him success on and off the field,” read a statement from Ottoman Cricket Club.
“We are also thrilled to welcome Abdul-Qadeer to our club. He is a top-order batsman with an impressive track record. We’re excited to see him bring his talent to our squad. Get ready for some incredible performances this season.”
Ottoman Cricket Club have been promoted to the WPCA premier league again after ending the 2023-24 first division A in second position.
They won 18 and lost four matches under head coach and former Proteas batsman Farhaan Behardien.
