Primrose Cricket Club have signed Western Province all-rounder Abdallah Bayoumy ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Bayoumy, who has been capped by South Africa Under-19 and Western Province, previously played for Rylands Cricket Club.
“Primrose Cricket Club are thrilled to welcome the talented all-rounder, Abdallah Bayoumy, to our dynamic team,” read a statement from the club.
“As an emerging star for WP and SA Under-19, he brings his exceptional skills, passion and dedication to our club.”
Primrose Cricket Club promoted
Primrose Cricket Club have returned to the WPCA premier league after finishing in second position in the 2022-23 WPCA first division A.
They will be joined in the premier league by Milnerton Cricket Club, who won last season’s first division A.
Brackenfell Cricket Club and Ottoman Cricket Club have been relegated to the first division A.
