Promoted Victoria Cricket Club announce two WPCA first division A signings

Victoria Cricket Club have signed all-rounder Juan Collison and batsman Fahad Khan ahead of the 2024-25 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.

Collison and Khan previously played for Avendale Cricket Club and Rylands Cricket Club, respectively.

“We are very excited to have Fahad and Juan with us. Fahad is a naturally aggressive top-order batsman who fits perfectly with our plans for the season. He’s looking sharp in the nets and I’m confident he’ll deliver some crucial innings for us,” said Victoria Cricket Club head coach Saadiek Davids.

“Juan is the ideal all-rounder, bringing balance to the team with his versatility. We’re counting on his skills a lot this season and I know he’s up for the challenge.”

Victoria Cricket Club have also signed Northamptonshire left-arm wrist spinner Freddie Heldreich.

Heldreich played in England’s T20 Blast and One-Day Cup in August and September 2024. He has been capped 11 times at List A level – and 44 times in T20 cricket.

Victoria Cricket Club have been promoted to the WPCA first division A after winning the 2023-24 first division B title.
