Wynberg Cricket Club have appointed Yusriy Sulaiman captain for the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division B.
Munier Khopatkar has been named Wynberg Cricket Club vice-captain.
Sulaiman and and Khopatkar’s appointments follow the recent exit of duo Mohammed Rahman and Taariq Gabriels. Rahman and Gabriels have left for Rylands Cricket Club in the WPCA premier league and United Cricket Club in the first division A, respectively.

“Congratulations to Yusriy and Munier. We wish you nothing but the best for the season ahead and have no doubt that you will take the club to new heights,” read a statement from Wynberg Cricket Club.
Wynberg Cricket Club have been promoted to the WPCA first division B after winning the 2022-23 first division C.
They recently appointed new head coach Kyle Prince.
