South Africa have added batsman Lhuan-dre Pretorius and seamer Eathan Bosch to the squad for this week’s first T20I against the West Indies at Boland Park in Paarl.
Bosch is the joint seventh-highest wicket-taker in the history of the SA20. He has been capped once in international cricket – February 2025’s ODI against New Zealand in Lahore, Pakistan.
“Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Eathan Bosch have been added to the squad for the first T20I against West Indies tomorrow,” read Monday’s statement from Cricket South Africa.
“They come in as Quinton de Kock, Tristan Stubbs, and Marco Jansen are rested following their SA20 final success with Sunrisers Eastern Cape on Sunday.”
The Proteas and West Indies will contest three T20Is. Matches two and three will be played in Centurion and Johannesburg.
