Proteas all-rounder George Linde represented Durbanville Cricket Club in the Western Province Cricket Association premier league for the first time in four years on Saturday, 9 December 2023.
Linde played against Milnerton Cricket Club at Theo Marais Park – and completed figures of one for 21 in eight overs. He did not bat, as Durbanville Cricket Club won by nine wickets.
Linde left Durbanville Cricket Club for Brackenfell Cricket Club in 2019.
He was not capped in international cricket at the time, but has since played three Tests, two ODIs and 14 T20Is.
Two months ago, Linde returned to Durbanville Cricket Club from Brackenfell Cricket Club.
Durbanville Cricket Club currently occupy eighth position in the 2023-24 WPCA premier league. They have won four and lost five matches.
