Proteas batsman Tristan Stubbs will play for Durham in the 2023 T20 Blast in the United Kingdom.
Stubbs will play alongside England fast bowler Brydon Carse at Durham. They were team-mates at the Sunrisers Eastern Cape during the recent SA20.
“I’m really excited to join Durham for the T20 Blast. I have spent some time with Brydon and he’s only had good things to say about the club,” said Stubbs.
Stubbs played for the Manchester Originals in The Hundred last year. He has also represented the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
“I can’t wait to get over to Durham and meet up with my new team-mates. Having played in England last summer, I know how much the fans love their cricket so it should be a really fun and successful summer,” added Stubbs.
