Batsman Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of South Africa’s full tour of England later this year, including the Test series.
Bavuma has an injured elbow – and will be sidelined for up to eight weeks.
Batsmen Sarel Erwee and Ryan Rickelton have been retained in the Test squad.
The squad also includes specialist spinners Simon Harmer and Keshav Maharaj.

What chief selector Victor Mpitsang said
England and South Africa will contest three T20Is, three ODIs and three Tests from mid-July to early-September.
“This will be a very long tour for several members of the team who will participate in all three formats and the entire coaching and support staff,” said Mpitsang.
“We anticipate exciting matches and nail-biting finishes against a strong opposing team that I know our Proteas enjoy facing off against.”
