Proteas and Dolphins batsmen Sarel Erwee and Keegan Petersen have joined Amanzimtoti Cricket Club in KwaZulu-Natal.
Petersen and Erwee were with South Africa for the recent Test tour of England. The latter was recently signed by the Sunrisers Eastern Cape at the SA20 player auction.

“We are very proud to announce the allocation of Proteas and Dolphins players Sarel Erwee and Keegan Petersen to our club. We welcome them with much excitement,” read a statement from Amanzimtoti Cricket Club.

Earlier this year, Amanzimtoti Cricket Club appointed experienced Free State coach Frank Ferreira director of cricket.
“When I walk into a season, my goal is to win it. This is a new venture for me, but I believe there is already a good base to work from, so I just need to build off it and take them to the next level,” Ferreira told the South Coast Sun at the time.
“This is the place where they can go to the next level. I want everyone to reach their full potential, even if this is just club cricket and not professional.”
