Kent have signed Proteas seamer Glenton Stuurman ahead of the 2026 English county season.
Stuurman has played two Tests and one T20I – and is contracted by Boland in division one of South African domestic cricket.
“I’m delighted to be joining Kent and excited for the opportunity to test myself in County Championship cricket during the English summer,” said Stuurman.
“I’m excited to play County Championship cricket for the first time in my career and determined to make an impact for Kent.
“Representing Kent carries a lot of weight, a club with a huge history in the game and a place where a lot of my fellow countrymen have made their names before. I’m looking forward to playing in front of Kent’s members and supporters.”
Kent have also signed Boland seamer Keith Dudgeon and Proteas all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy.
Kent director of cricket Simon Cook added: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Glenton to Kent for the start of the season.
“He brings a wealth of experience to our attack, with more than 250 first-class wickets to his name, and it will be great for him to link up again with his Boland team-mate Keith Dudgeon.
“Glenton is a skillful operator who will help us start the season strongly and maintain pressure throughout the campaign along with our other quicks.”
